Join an international network of individuals, companies and organizations who are taking action to help keep our forests for generations to come. To become a FSC Member:.


Required Application Documents

Organizational Members

  • A completed membership application form
  • Signed letters of support from two FSC members.
  • A signed 'Self Declaration Form' agreeing to the Policy for the Association of Organizations to FSC'
  • Organizational statutes, annual report, publicly available financial information (incl. funding information if applicable) and any other documents showing your company's status.

    Note: If the applicant is a non-profit organization, evidence of charitable or non-profit status and information on funding is needed.

    For applicants to the Economic Chamber, details of commercial activities are required. Applicants to the Economic Chamber must have demonstrated a commitment to implementing the FSC Principles and Criteria in their operations.

Individual Members

Application Approval

The membership committee will decide whether your application is approved. This will take a minimum of four weeks. If your application is approved, you will have full voting rights immediately.

Membership Fee Payment

FSC will issue the first invoice on approval of your application. Membership fees can be paid by cheque, credit card or bank-to-bank transfer.
