Forest Management Audit - Hearst Forest Management Inc. (HFMI)

Hearst Forest Management Inc. (HFMI) has retained SGS to conduct the Surveillance Audit of the Hearst Forest, located in Hearst ON, against the standards of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The Surveillance Audit is to be conducted in compliance with the FSC requirements, and against the Canadian FSC National Boreal Standard (2004).
The Surveillance Audit will be conducted between March 7 and March 9, 2017.
You have been identified as a key stakeholder for this audit and your participation in this process is very important. If you have any comments regarding HFMI’s management of the Hearst Forest, we would greatly appreciate your input.

If you would like to arrange an in-person interview, please do contact us at your soonest convenience, and we will do our utmost to arrange for a member of the Audit Team to meet with you face-to-face during our visit to the Hearst Forest (dates above). We are also providing you with a form (see attached) that can help you provide input to us; use of this form is optional, however.
Please find attached the SGS Qualifor guidelines on the FSC certification process. Please bear in mind that any/all information provided by you is strictly confidential, and used only for the purposes of the audit process. Please note that feedback is welcomed in both French and English; SGS can also provide documentation on the FSC process in French, upon request.
