Update on status of revision process
FSC is in the process of updating and streamlining the Chain of Custody (CoC) requirements (and the corresponding accreditation standard for certification bodies).
We have now developed two draft revised Standards which reflect feedback previously collected through the conceptual phase consultation and working group meetings.

The public consultation is now open until January 25, 2026, in order to seek feedback from interested stakeholders on the draft revised Standards. We encourage all interested parties to participate in this important process as your input is valuable to shaping the future of FSC Canada's Chain of Custody certification.
