It is MRNF’s intention to maintain all FSC FM certificates that are in place prior to that time, which (including certified forests and those currently in process of certification) will represent approximately 40 FM certificates and 25 million ha of FSC-certified forests.
In order to ensure a smooth and transparent transfer of FM certificates from forest companies to the MRNF, a Protocol for Forest Management Certificate Transfer has been developed and approved by FSC International.
