The Rainforest Alliance will conduct a forest management certification annual surveillance audit of Chantiers Chibougamau Ltée. This annual evaluation is on their forestry operations on 1 749 079 ha of public land located in the Nord-du-Québec region of the Quebec province, Canada (forest management units 026-61, 026-62 and 026-64).
As a part of the forest certification process, we invite comments and feedback on Chantiers Chibougamau Ltée.’s forest management practices. Comments will be kept confidential, unless requested otherwise by commentator, and are solely for the purpose of assisting Rainforest Alliance to assess management on these territories. Rainforest Alliance must receive comments prior to June 20th 2014, so that we can take them into consideration in reaching a certification decision.
