The Rainforest Alliance is conducting forest management and chain of custody certification re-assessments of the Taan Forest Limited Partnership located in British Columbia, Canada. The re-assessment will be implemented during the week of September 19th 2016.

As a part of the forest certification assessment process, stakeholders are invited to offer comment and feedback on Taan Forest Limited Partnership’s forest management in relation to conformance with the requirements of the forest management standard referenced above. Input is welcomed, either public or confidential, in whatever form is easiest and most secure for you. Your input will be valuable at any stage of the assessment process, but would prefer to receive your comments either prior to the assessment, during the assessment, or prior to September 19th 2016 so that they can be taken into consideration in reaching a certification decision by September 28th 2016.

Your options for communicating your observations are as follows.

  • 1. Meet with a Rainforest Alliance assessment team member during or shortly after the fieldwork.
  • 2. Call and give comments to David Brunelle, the Rainforest Alliance staff person responsible for coordinating this certification assessment from Toronto.
  • 3. Submit written comments by mail, FAX or email to David Brunelle. Unless you request otherwise, these comments will be kept confidential and are solely for the purposes of assessing Taan Forest Limited Partnership.
