As of July 2, 2013, Orrin Quinn (Social Chamber) will be stepping down from his role on the FSC Canada Board of Directors. Orrin will be moving on to join FSC Canada’s staff as the Regional Manager, Western Canada and will begin his new position on August 1, 2013.
Arnold Bercov is Vice President of an 800-member local of the PPWC and serves as Forest Officer for the PPWC National Office. These roles together with his practical experience in mill operations enables Arnold to provide valuable input on the social aspects of FSC as it relates to employment, community involvement and sustainable forest management. Arnold has served on the FSC Canada Board for a number of years over the past few years. His pragmatic approach and expertise has enabled him to understand the need for and contribute to building consensus among all affected groups – industry, unions, Aboriginals and environmentalists – and the ultimate overall market value of FSC certification for business and consumers
