FSC Canada is proud to return as a sponsor Toronto Climate Week (TOCW), a dynamic, citywide platform uniting policy leaders, investors, innovators, and members of the creative economy. This now annual event continues to showcase the bold ideas and practical solutions shaping Canada’s sustainable future. The theme for 2026 will illustrate through various flagship and other events, how climate competitiveness drives Canada’s economic advantage.

FSC Canada is looking forward to participating in two key flagship events this year: ‘Nature & Blue Economy’, and ‘Natural Resources, Infrastructure & Energy’.

Overall, FSC Canada’s presence this year illustrates our strong strategic footprint across ecosystem storytelling, infrastructure leadership, and the focused launch of our Verified Impact initiatives. Each event also reflects how FSC connects climate action to economic opportunity, all while highlighting the essential role forests play as a climate solution.

Brand new for TOCW 2026, FSC Canada is excited to host an exclusive Verified Impact event, bringing together sustainability leaders and investors to learn more about the innovative FSC Verified Impact Forest Sponsorship Program. This program offers new ways for organizations to measure and support verified environmental and social outcomes through responsible forest management. Amongst others, some opportunities to support impact projects will include:

  • Taan Forest, an Indigenous-owned and operated forest company on Haida Gwaii.
  • The Private Land Silviculture and Restoration Program with the Ontario Woodlot Association in Eastern Ontario.
  • Conservation and restoration of Acadian Forest through community forest and private woodlot management across Nova Scotia.

Through these and other Verified Impact initiatives, FSC Canada continues to demonstrate how forests and the communities connected to them play a vital role in achieving climate goals, while advancing economic and social well-being.

FSC Canada is honoured to be a part of Toronto Climate Week once again this year and we look forward to collaborative conversations that will undoubtedly help to strengthen Canada’s leadership in the nature-positive, low-carbon economy of the future.
