FSC Canada is pleased to welcome two talented professionals to its team: Karen Kaizer as the new Director of Marketing and Stacey Thompson-Marcial as Operations Manager.
Karen Kaizer – Director of Marketing
Karen joins FSC Canada with over two decades of global experience leading brand and marketing strategies for premium brands across a wide range of industries. In her new role, she will be responsible for developing and executing FSC Canada's marketing efforts to enhance visibility and drive certification growth. She will work closely with the broader FSC Canada team to elevate the FSC brand across key markets.
Karen is known for her ability to build strong, long-term partnerships and craft strategic plans that are both creative and impactful. She brings a thoughtful, relationship-focused approach to her work—executing every project with excellence and care.
Karen shares her life with her husband Charles and their spoiled English bulldog, Gourd. When she’s not working, you might find her cooking, hiking, enjoying the lake, practicing yoga, or chatting with her vegetable garden.

Stacey Thompson-Marcial – Operations Manager
FSC Canada is equally excited to welcome Stacey Thompson-Marcial, a seasoned operations leader with more than 12 years of experience in operations, project management, event coordination, and administrative leadership.
Stacey will be focused on optimizing internal systems, managing key operational projects, and supporting executive leadership to ensure the organization functions efficiently and effectively. Her sharp eye for streamlining workflows and fostering collaboration will be instrumental in helping FSC Canada deliver on its mission.
From managing complex logistics to facilitating seamless board meetings and building strong cross-team relationships, Stacey is known for her precision, reliability, and purpose-driven mindset. With a deep commitment to sustainable development, she is excited to help FSC Canada advance its environmental and social impact goals.
Stacey enjoys fitness, travel, wine tasting, and hosting lavish dinner parties for friends and family.
