The 'Requirements for Trademark use by Certificate Holders FSC-STD-50-001 v1-2', effective December 2010 for new certificate holders, outlines requirements for on-product labeling, promotional use of the trademarks and graphical requirements. Companies that are currently FSC-certified will be assessed against the new standard from July 1, 2011 (previously January 1, 2011).
One of the new requirements of this standard is that FSC labels will now reflect the total percentage of recycled fibre (post consumer + pre consumer fibre) next to the mobius loop.
Please provide FSC with the percentage of post and pre-consumer recycled fibre in your papers so that this information may be included in the FSC North American Paper List.
