The FSC General Assembly (GA) is where the voices of our diverse membership meet, debate, and set the course for responsible forest management worldwide. Unlike most organizations, FSC’s direction and focus are shaped directly by our members; through motions proposed, refined, and voted on at the GA.
What starts as a motion on the GA floor often grows into something much bigger: a lasting part of FSC’s system, embedded in our standards, our governance, and the way we work every day.
The General Assembly is more than an event — it is the living expression of what makes FSC unique: a community of people from all parts of the world, representing diverse perspectives, who choose to sit together, listen, and find common ground in the roots of our shared future — the forests that sustain us all.
To those who were able to participate this year, a sincere thank you for being part of the FSC General Assembly 2025. Your involvement directly supports our shared mission to protect forests and the people who depend on them.
