Founded in Scotland in 1856, Hunter is a progressive British brand known all over the world for its all-weather footwear. Hunter's most iconic boot, the Original Tall, first debuted in 1956 and today, it is still handcrafted from 28 individual natural rubber pieces, taking three days to assemble

Hunter has now launched an FSC-certified iteration of its iconic, 100% waterproof Original Tall and Original Short Wellington boot. In an Olive Green with the FSC’s logo on the inside of the boot, each pair were crafted from natural rubber harvested from plantations independently audited by FSC.

For Hunter, natural rubber, which is sourced from the sap of rubber trees, is the most important raw material and they are committed to sourcing all products responsibly and sustainably. This means ensuring safe and fair working conditions and reducing the brand’s carbon footprint. Protecting the world and upholding human and labour rights is essential to Hunter’s future strategy.

The FSC-certified collection is part of Hunter’s wider project, which promotes social and environmental sustainability. For example, their ‘Hunter Donated’ program has donated over 116,000 pairs of fully functioning boots to charities all over the world.
