FSC Canada is pleased to report that there are now over 50 million hectares (127 million acres) of FSC-certified forest lands in Canada, which represents a 178% increase since 2007 - an area equivalent to the size of Spain!This rapid growth in supply of FSC-certified fibre is anticipated to continue as an additional 12 million ha (29 million acres) of forests are in the process of becoming certified.
