FSC US and Canada hosted two 1-hour webinars on Tuesday, September 29th and Tuesday, October 13 addressing a recent Interpretation that improves the economic value proposition for FSC certified sawmills and enhances availability of FSC supply for producers seeking certified residuals (e.g., woodchips, sawdust).

The webinars included a short presentation, followed by Q&A. This is an important clarification that should allow many sawmills to use unused credits accumulated in lumber accounts and increase supply of FSC-certified residuals into the market.
