The Eastern Ontario Model Forest in partnership with FSC Canada, the Ontario Forestry Association, Bancroft Minden SFL and SmartWood is offering a one day information workshop focused on FSC certification in the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Forest Region.
This workshop will take place Wednesday March 30th 2011 at the Bancroft Curling Club located at 63 Newkirk Blvd. The morning session of this workshop will focus on the history and progress of FSC Certification globally, nationally and in our GLSL forest Region along with the auditing process and the GLSL Standards. The afternoon portion will look at chain of custody certification for forest based businesses and a closer look at FSC certificate holders through example case studies.
