All stakeholders are invited to comment on the second draft of the Trademark Standard FSC-STD-50-001 – Requirements for Use of the FSC Trademarks by Certificate Holders – through our new FSC Consultation Platform. The deadline for commenting is 30 April 2017.

MONTREAL, March 1, 2017 – The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Canada today commended the Canadian government's recent announcement to review the laws and policies related to its commitment to implement the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), a document that describes both individual and collective rights of Indigenous peoples around the world based on the principles of equality, partnership, good faith and mutual respect.
