On December 22, 2016 Scholastic announced that it surpassed its company-wide goal of strengthening its sustainable paper procurement practices and increasing the percentage of FSC-certified paper purchased by the company.
January 1, 2017 – The FSC Board of Directors has approved revised FSC chain-of-custody standards FSC-STD-40-004 V3-0 and FSC-STD-20-011 V4-0. The revised standards will become effective on April 1, 2017.
