It is with great pleasure that we announce the new FSC Canada Board of Directors for 2014-2015. 

Through the Eastern Ontario Model Forest’s (EOMF) Forest Certification Program the forests owned and managed by the Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority (SVCA) have achieved FSC Forest Management certification with assistance from FSC’s Smallholder Fund.

The Nawiinginokiima Forest Management Corporation (NFMC) is the first of its kind established under Ontario’s Forest Modernization Act and represents a significant milestone towards modernizing forest tenure in Ontario.
