The FSC Board of Directors has approved revised normative procedures for the development and approval of FSC National Risk Assessments (NRAs). The documents, approved at the Board’s 67th meeting in Oaxaca, Mexico in November 2014, will be published immediately and come into effect on 1 January 2015.
The Policy for Association of Organizations (PfA) with FSC (FSC–POL–01–004) puts forth a set of criteria that must be met to have a contractual relationship with FSC, and along with the procedures for Due Diligence (FSC-PRO-10-004) are the core tools for safeguarding the reputation of the FSC brand.
