Formica Corporation’s high pressure decorative laminates are now available with full Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) certification at no additional charge. FSC-certified Formica® Brand Laminate joins the recently unveiled e Series Solid Surfacing by Formica Group, the first major branded solid surfacing to contain post-consumer recycled content, as the latest surfacing options on the market designed to minimize environmental impact.   

Catalyst Paper has achieved Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) controlled wood and chain-of-custody certifications at its three Canadian manufacturing operations. Catalyst had already implemented FSC chain-of-custody at its recycle mill in Snowflake, Arizona, as well as Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) chain-of-custody at its Canadian operations.

Today Metro Montreal begins printing exclusively on Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified paper as part of a new environmental policy launched in collaboration with North American environmental organization, Canopy.
