The FSC-POL-01-004 FSC Policy for Association (PfA) is an expression of the values shared by organizations associated with FSC and defines the unacceptable activities they commit to avoid. This policy is supplemented by two procedures:
- FSC-PRO-10-004 Due Diligence Evaluation for the Association with FSC – the procedure for screening organizations prior to their association with FSC;
- FSC-PRO-01-009 Procedure for Evaluating Compliance with the FSC Policy for Association – the procedure for investigating and addressing potential violations of the PfA.
FSC International invites your participation in the first consultation on these two procedures.
The objective of this consultation is to strengthen the process for screening applicants prior to their association with FSC, and to streamline the process for evaluating allegations of possible PfA violations. (The revised draft PfA has completed two rounds of consultation and is undergoing a feasibility analysis.)
