The Rainforest Alliance is conducting forest management and chain of custody certification
reassessment of the Fédération des Organismes de Gestion en Commun du Bas-St-Laurent
(FOGCBSL), located in Lac-au-Saumon, Québec, Canada. The audit will be conducted during the week
of June 1st 2015.

As a part of the forest reassessment audit process, we invite stakeholders to offer comment and
feedback on FOGCBSL’s forest management in relation to conformance with the requirements of the
forest management standard referenced above. We welcome input, either public or confidential, in
whatever form is easiest and most secure for you. Your input will be valuable at any stage of the
audit process, but we would prefer to receive your comments either prior to the audit, during the
audit, or prior to June 5th 2015 so that we can take them into consideration in reaching a certification
decision by July 28th 2015. Your options for communicating your observations to us are as follows.

  • 1. Meet with a Rainforest Alliance audit team member prior or during the fieldwork.
  • 2. Call and give comments verbally to Mylène Raimbault, the Rainforest Alliance staff person
  • responsible for coordinating this reassessment from the Canada Regional Office.
  • 3. Submit written comments by mail, FAX or email to Mylène Raimbault. Unless you request
  • otherwise, these comments will be kept confidential and are solely for the purposes of assessing
  • FOGCBSL’s activities.
