Every three years, FSC International Members gather at FSC's General Assembly to make key decisions regarding FSC’s future. The 2014 General Assembly will take place from September 7-14, 2014 in Seville, Spain and will mark the 20th anniversary of FSC’s continuous efforts to find solutions that benefit people and forests worldwide.
The week-long General Assembly will feature over 50 side meetings and the FSC+20 Forum which will bring together an unprecedented number of business leaders, representatives from environmental and social non-governmental organizations and others to discuss the greatest challenges facing FSC and the world’s forests. The Forum will include sessions on:
- Dollars and Sense: Balancing consumer demand with forest resources
- Show Me the Money: The role of finance and investments in responsible forest management;
- Good Money: Increasing the social and environmental returns from forest investments;
