The ‘Design & Build with FSC’ Awards recognize designers and builders who are committed to using FSC-certified wood, and who are creating a marketplace that promotes environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically prosperous forest management.

These exclusive building awards recognize excellence in the use of FSC-certified materials in both residential and commercial/industrial design and construction in North America. Winning projects, chosen by an independent committee of recognized professionals, will be announced at the 10th Annual Design & Build with FSC Awards Reception, held October 22-24th, 2014 in conjunction with Greenbuild 2014 in New Orleans.

2013 award winners included the Center for Sustainable Landscapes at the Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh, the first project to pursue three rigorous standards: Living Building Challenge, 4 Stars Sustainable Sites Initiative, and LEED Platinum. The residential Design & Build Award winner was the Desert Rain Home in Bend, Oregon, in which 100% of the wood products are FSC-certified or salvaged. Learn more about the past winners
