FSC labels can be found on thousands of products around the world. They provide consumers with the assurance that the product is made from responsible sources and has been verified to meet FSC’s strict environmental and social standards.
A recent study* found that 55% of global consumers understand what FSC labels mean, and 54% trust FSC to protect forests (higher than government, companies, and individuals).

The 3 FSC Labels
FSC 100%
FSC 100% labels identify products which are made of 100% virgin material from FSC-certified forests.
FSC MIX
FSC MIX labels identify products which are made with a combination of FSC virgin fibre, and/or recycled materials with controlled virgin fibre.
FSC Recycled
FSC Recycled labels identify products which are made with 100% recycled fibre. The mobius loop in the top left-hand corner identifies the percentage of recycled fibre.
3 steps to get the FSC label placed on your product:

Verify that the company that is supplying the final product is FSC-certified http://info.fsc.org;

Ask the supplier to use FSC-certified paper or wood; and

Specify that the FSC Label be placed on the product or document. The FSC certified supplier will already have access to the FSC label graphics and know how to obtain approvals.

How do I get the label on my product/packaging?
Only FSC certified companies are authorized to place the FSC label onto products/packaging. To have the FSC label placed on your product/packaging, verify that the company that is supplying the final product is FSC-certified info.fsc.org; Ask the supplier to use FSC-certified paper or wood; and Specify that the FSC Label be placed on the product or document.
