Tina Langille-Hayward, Director of Policy and Standards
Tina joins us from Alberta Pacific Forest Industries (the world’s largest FSC certified forest) and brings over 20 years of experience in the forest industry across Alberta and British Columbia. Nearly half of that time was spent coordinating an FSC Forest Management Group certificate as well as FSC Controlled Wood and Chain of Custody certificates for three forest companies.
She is no stranger to FSC, having been deeply engaged at both national and international levels. Her contributions include attending two FSC General Assemblies, serving on the FSC Canada Standard Development Group, and co-chairing the FSC Canada User Group (a network of FSC Forest Management Certificate Holders). Tina has also provided leadership on the European Union Deforestation-Free Regulation and worked closely with the forest products supply chain, local communities, and Indigenous partners—furthering her expertise in environmentally and socially responsible forestry.
Based in Alberta, Tina enjoys time with her family, bike touring, salmon fishing, and most recently, the challenge of training her Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppy. We’re confident she will be a natural fit with FSC Canada.
We look forward to officially welcoming Tina on September 22, 2025, as she takes on all responsibilities from Sean Dolter, our outgoing Director of Policy and Standards, who will begin his next adventure—retirement—this October.
Mylène Raimbault, Regional Manager, Eastern Canada
Mylène Raimbault is a bilingual registered forester located in Québec with over 20 years of experience engaging with industry, governments, Indigenous communities, and local stakeholders in the context of forest management planning and certification.
After her work in the forest industry and with the Ministry of Natural Resources of Québec, Mylène transitioned to Preferred by Nature Canada, overseeing the team responsible for the delivery forest management certification services. Her FSC Trainer qualifications, combined with a unique blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills, led her to also contribute internationally for the organization—providing training, mentoring and conducting audits in the United States, Central Africa, South Asia, and Oceania. Mylène also participated in the field testing of the new National Forest Stewardship Standard and recently supported our efforts in effectiveness monitoring.
Mylène embraces the joys of rural living on her 40-hectare forest lot. Whether she's exploring the outdoors, tending to her garden, or diving into creative pursuits, she finds inspiration in nature. Her latest artistic passion? Weaving pine needle baskets.
