Tina Langille-Hayward, Director of Policy and Standards
Tina nous rejoint après avoir travaillé pour Alberta Pacific Forest Industries (la plus grande forêt certifiée FSC au monde) et apporte plus de 20 ans d'expérience dans l'industrie forestière en Alberta et en Colombie-Britannique. Elle a passé près de la moitié de cette période à coordonner un certificat FSC Forest Management Group ainsi que des certificats FSC Controlled Wood et Chain of Custody pour trois entreprises forestières.
Elle connaît bien le FSC, ayant été très impliquée tant au niveau national qu'international. Elle a notamment participé à deux assemblées générales du FSC, siégé au groupe de développement des normes du FSC Canada et coprésidé le groupe d'utilisateurs du FSC Canada (un réseau de détenteurs de certificats de gestion forestière FSC). Tina a également joué un rôle de premier plan dans la réglementation de l'Union européenne sur la déforestation et a travaillé en étroite collaboration avec la chaîne d'approvisionnement des produits forestiers, les communautés locales et les partenaires autochtones, approfondissant ainsi son expertise en matière de foresterie responsable sur le plan environnemental et social.
Basée en Alberta, Tina aime passer du temps avec sa famille, faire du vélo, pêcher le saumon et, plus récemment, relever le défi de dresser son chiot Chesapeake Bay Retriever. Nous sommes convaincus qu'elle s'intégrera naturellement au FSC Canada.
Nous sommes impatients d'accueillir officiellement Tina le 22 septembre 2025, alors qu'elle reprendra toutes les responsabilités de Sean Dolter, notre directeur sortant des politiques et des normes, qui commencera sa prochaine aventure, la retraite, en octobre prochain.
Mylène Raimbault, Regional Manager, Eastern Canada
Mylène Raimbault is a bilingual registered forester located in Québec with over 20 years of experience engaging with industry, governments, Indigenous communities, and local stakeholders in the context of forest management planning and certification.
After her work in the forest industry and with the Ministry of Natural Resources of Québec, Mylène transitioned to Preferred by Nature Canada, overseeing the team responsible for the delivery forest management certification services. Her FSC Trainer qualifications, combined with a unique blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills, led her to also contribute internationally for the organization—providing training, mentoring and conducting audits in the United States, Central Africa, South Asia, and Oceania. Mylène also participated in the field testing of the new National Forest Stewardship Standard and recently supported our efforts in effectiveness monitoring.
Mylène embraces the joys of rural living on her 40-hectare forest lot. Whether she's exploring the outdoors, tending to her garden, or diving into creative pursuits, she finds inspiration in nature. Her latest artistic passion? Weaving pine needle baskets.
