The 2014 FSC International General Assembly, FSC's highest decision-making body, gathered close to 500 participants from 70 countries, representing social, economic and environmental interests from across the globe.
The week-long General Assembly featured over 50 side meetings and the FSC+20 Forum which brought together an unprecedented number of business leaders, representatives from environmental and social non-governmental organizations and others to discuss the greatest challenges facing FSC and the world’s forests.
The General Assembly had over 30 motions put in front of them to discuss in-detail and vote on. After last two days of deliberations, 18 motions were passed. The results of the General Assembly can be found on the FSC General Assembly website: http://ga2014.fsc.org/motion-updates .
